Has anyone ever 'signed' their drawings when they are finished (before you hit submit)?
I know a lot of artists who play on here are very talented. I was just curious why I haven't seen anyone sign their drawings, or put a little mark of some sort to identify it as theirs. ( like initials or something)
Two things come to mind. First, when you're captioning someone's drawing, it might change things if you know whose it is. Second, when a game is complete and you see it in context, you see the artist's name displayed below, so it doesn't really need to be signed.
Plus it really seems like it would come across as arrogant.
This is a team game, it would just feel wrong to put that much emphasis on an individual, especially if you did it for yourself.

Alot of the top artists have a distinct style anyway, and after playing for awhile you can usually guess who did it even before checking the names. But I agree with what was stated above as well. Besides who has time to sign? I barely have enough time to DRAW! lol
What everyone else said!
Also, someone might not pick up that it's a signature and try and make it the description.
I did actually sign this one:

seemed appropriate; I wouldn't normally :)
Because your name below the picture frame pretty much identifies it. Did you know that it is also a link to your profile? Useful when you want to see more from somebody.
