Won't stay logged on

Using Firefox. It used to be that the site would remember my logon for weeks at a time - in fact, I don't think I ever had to re-logon to the system after the first time I did months ago. Recently over the last week, however, the system logs me out after a short, but unknown amount of time (probably no more than an hour), which means I have to constantly re-log on when I come back to my Drawception tab. I removed my Drawception.com cookie, but problem persists.

i noticed this as well, and wondered if it were a glitch or a security feature...

I think it's definitely a glitch. Only started happening after the update, it's doing it to me as well. I am also using latest version of Firefox. What happens is it shows me as logged in whenever I'm browsing around, but any time I do something that requires logging in such as voting, adding to favorites or playing, I have to log in again.

Unscrewed means which login feature are you using.

I use Google to log in.

It's happening to me in Chrome (signing in w/ google) so it's not just a firefox thing.

What taekwondogirl said, maybe you were all using the same site. Anyway, do you guys have a virusscanner with real-time scanning?

seems like most of the users affected in this thread do use google to sign in (myself included), but KxRook uses their yahoo account.
we haven't heard from anyone using facebook or twitter as their login... as far as virus scanning goes,i use trend micro worry-free business security

I use facebook and I have no problems what so ever.

(PS. I thought it might be your realtime virusscanner detecting the session cookies as tracking cookies and removes it.)

No. It does it to me at work as well, and the computer here doesn't have a virus scanner at all. It's got to be some sort of problem with specific sites for login.

It has been happening to me. Not much of a hassle, as I only have to click the Google symbol and it's logged in in two seconds. Also, AkaB wins this thread.

I don't have it at all, I tried to play under all sites (Yahoo, Google, Facebook & Twitter) played on all these accounts for about 1hour, never got logged off once.

This has to be either computer related or a security feature you have enabled at one of these "social"-sites.

But then why would it only happen after the most recent update?

I haven't touched my google settings (which I log in with) for months, so it's not something I've 'enabled', Unscrewed. Bugs are not always universal - just because it doesn't happen to you doesn't mean it's not being caused by the site you're on.

Wasn't sure if you wanted a new topic for this Reed but I figure bumping is good enough.

It definitely logs me in longer, right now if I stay on the site I'll still be logged in but if I close the tab or click away and come back, I'm logged out again.

Firefox 12.0 using Google to log in.
