Still Get Logged Out

A ton. Like seriously, any time I close the tab that Drawception is in, or navigate away from the site, next time I come back I have to log back in again.

I kept putting off making a post about this figuring it was in the works or something. Is there a fix for this I can do?

Using Firefox 12.0, signing in with Google.

Do you have to do this with other websites like Facebook, hotmail etc? Nothing to do with clearing out your cache etc when closing or exiting the browser?

I have a similar problem yet I don't even have to navigate away from the site. For example, I'm permanently logged in on the forums section (even if I leave the site and come back), yet if I try to go to the Play, Create, Leader board, etc. I'm always logged out. Using Chrome, signing in with Google

This is the only site this happens to me on. Firefox also doesn't clear the cache and cookies unless I specifically tell it to.

I can always post on the forums fine like Aly2835 says. On the home page, it shows me logged out. I click to the forums, logged in. My profile, logged in. I go to a top game, says I'm logged in. Then I try to upvote and it asks me to log in in order to do that. Same with playing.

How long does it last when you log into the rest of the site before you have to log in again?

I'll have to test it. I always end up navigating away from Drawception before I get logged out again because I don't leave the tab up. Also, it's hard to tell if I'm logged out until I click the home page and an upvote... if I spend a lot of time on the forum, it's possible I'd never notice.

It doesn't ask me to log in for the forums ever, even if the other features of the site view me as logged out.

Heh, no sooner did I post that than it started doing it again after I got back from dinner.

This always happens to me as well. Same exact situation. Doesn't matter if I'm at work or at home. I use firefox 14.0.1 here at work and firefox 13.0.1 at home while signing in with Google. I don't know the exact interval of time but it's somewhere between an hour or two of inactivity.

Still happens to me as well. It can be as short as 10 minutes for me, all it takes is closing the tab that had Drawception open or going to a different website. Next time I come back, I have to log in.

Holy crap. I just got logged out while drawing (Firefox) and was unable to submit my drawing. It was the most awesome drawing in the history of Drawception too. Now it is lost to the world forever.

Seriously though, this is not good.

@Scribbletard This JUST happened to me too. No! You don't have to lose it! ;o Just keep the drawing open in a tab and quickly log back in in another tab. It should let you submit it. Hopefully my panel won't end up glitched or anything, but it worked for me.

@Nyarly. Thanks. :) I already navigated away. I will keep this in mind.

@red - Doesn't seem like this is a very common problem here -- I haven't had it happen to me, and yet I use Chrome, like a few of those who reported this in the past.

What browser do you use? Have you checked your privacy settings? This is most often a byproduct of having them set higher than necessary. You can sometimes work around something like this selectively... many browsers allow you to enable cookies and such for some sites without enabling them for everything else, for example.

Hard to troubleshoot this in detail, when people's settings can be so very different (and extensions and plug-ins, as well as security software, can also be factors).

Could also vary based on how you created your account?

This should be fixed now after the next time you login. Anyone still experience it after logging in at least once with the new site?
