About half the time, when I try to change colors or brush sizes, my click does not register. I'm not sure if this is an actual bug or if I am just clicking too fast. Maybe I am pressing the mouse on the button I want, but I move the pointer back to the panel so quickly that it is not on the button when I release it. It is annoying because I waste a lot of time erasing or undoing marks that I didn't mean to make.
I think there was a post a while ago talking about this. I also have this.
Yup, all the time.
I have had this problem in every internet browser since IE5.5. It's like they all signed up for an "mandatory user annoyance" clause. I remember the web being a little more "instant" earlier when it came to clicking anything. A unoperational left-click turned into a middle-click-to-new-tab for pages.
That happens to me pretty much every time that I draw.
It happens to me all of the time. I blame myself.
That is because these buttons are images, if they were generic buttons you wouldn't have this problem. Try to find an image (like the Drawception logo at the top of this page), click, drag and release your mouse, you will 'pickup' the image.
It is really your fault (sounds harsh, not what I meant), maybe try to perfection your clicking.
This is a behavior of images, but not necessarily a limitation of them. You can control a lot of aspects of these with CSS, such as making them not interactive, then register interactions through Javascript to bind to the click. You can even make Javascript detect if the down and up clicks were both on the image.
But the site's in beta and they probably have a lot more critical bugs to address. If it throws you off so much you can get Greasemonkey and inject some controlling code yourself.
Happens to me constantly. Can really wreak havoc when I'm pushed for time with a drawing. Glad to see it's not just me, at least. XD
Same here :) Always drawing blue instead of black or thick lines where I need a thin one. Very annoying. But good to know that I can prevent this by perfecting my clicking. I'll try to remember to hold my mouse still while clicking...
