Notifications Not Clearing

I often get bugged notifications that do not clear for hours if I ignore them. If I click on the comment link 3-4 times it finally clears. Is anyone else running into this issue?

This has been a problem since the beginning Mitra, although admittedly they seem to have gotten a lot better than they used to be for the last 2 monthsish.

I have never experienced this problem just until this past week. It's rather annoying.

My notifications are always around long after I have clicked on them.

As of late, I am also getting double notifications for the same thing.

I noticed that if someone replies to one of my comments, I get both a "Reply" notification and a "New Comment" notification. Maybe that is why you are getting double notifications for the same thing.
