The panel he has up votes in was from a top game, the face he adds in the corner was reduced to a tiny vestigial red smile and two black dots for eyes. I saw that game before this thread and didn't spot the fame or notice the player name. The tiny face is so vestigial that I don't think you could say there was anything objectional about it, it's there to troll by its presence rather than its appearance. Most players don't contribute to the forums and won't know that profiles with '9gag' in the name have been specifically trolling with blackface. The vestigial face in the top game is certainly not enough to ring warning bells for many players. Calling people mouthbreathers and slope head cretins for up voting that panel is out of order. Did you look at the panel?

Yes, i agree with Moku, and he's also removed the blackface, an ordinary smiley doesn't have any racial implications, so the panel itself is really not a problem. He's still using a deliberately racist username and avatar, which is why we need a way to flag names and avs, but if he changes them and starts contributing legitimately to the community, there's no reason to object. I'm all for giving people multiple chances if they start out trolling and then decide they'd rather play along in a positive way.

Repeating /b/tard oldmemes until you annoy people is not a quality troll. It is, in fact, the lowest common denominator of trolling, the sort of trolling which only pale, desperate shut-ins with poor socialization use. This lame, sad, boring trollbait would get you saged off /b/ in seconds.

Please, for the sake of the art of trolling, either depart from us in peace to work up some better material, or take your show to SomethingAwful, where your horrible trolling skills will at least look better by comparison.

@SweetSugar people have different tolerance levels for trolling. When you consider how much drawsomething just sold for to Zynga, Reed should take all of 0 chances with racist bullshit since he stands to make 10s of millions of dollars in my honest opinion. Censorship be damned, you want to ironically promote racial hatred subliminally? Go for it, just do it somewhere else.

9gag is terrible and "memes" (actually Reaction Faces) are unfunny imo.

@SweetSugar, he's still got a blackface usericon, after numerous explanations that that was unacceptable. I think that's enough reason to banninate a member. If he doesn't want to be an ass, he can come back with a normal icon like everyone else. Everything KxRook is saying right.

Note: omgpop sold for 180M but they had other properties than Drawsomething, with drawsomething being by far their most popular. With Drawception having more staying power and pageviews per users, as well as not being solely mobile (which has lower intrinsic value) I would personally value them above that, even with the smaller current user-pool. Fact is, with this kind of money on the line, there should be a 0 tolerance policy for the crap that no one wants. Boo hoo, black face characters get banned, no great loss as far as I'm concerned.

You'd be naive to not be looking at this site as a business at this point. Reed is smack dab in the middle of the most lucrative of all start-ups. The last thing a business on the move needs is bad, racist, hateful publicity.... so good riddance.
