Well, he used to draw things correctly a lot more often than now.

I don't understand, he did hundreds of drawings, I didn't look at all of them, but I don't get why he would turn troll. I wonder if he shares an account with another dude who is a complete axxhole.

He drew what he wanted to, and he drew it well.

If he found something he didn't want to draw, he'd derail instead of skipping.

He's also been doing increasingly abstract images, you could see, with the benefit of the prompt, how they were derived and they weren't unpleasing images. But they always derailed the game because while you could see the prompt in them when you knew what it was, there was no way you could extract it otherwise.

Just be glad you can still post on the forums ... but really ... sometimes, running on the edge can be a dangerous thing.

My suggestion: put down that damn Kool Aid and try not to make things a bit too difficult for others.

You see, this is my whole point. I've been protesting (in my own special way) the spectacular ambiguity and indecisiveness of Reed's constant changes to the game. And, yes, I first tried posting my concerns and ideas on the forum, but to absolutely no avail. One of my concerns (along with many others)--which I expressed under Reed's latest post regarding the most recent renovations--was about the uncertainty that players would have in fully understanding ideas like "auto-limit" and functions like "flagging" and the general inability to monitor one's own account and status. And, yes, evidently I have stepped over the line, but my voice wasn't being heard otherwise. Really, I'm just amazed that after two or so months Reed and his boys haven't fixed these most glaring and easy of homemade "bugs."

And yet I still...have...the power, just under a new account. So suck it. (c; Oh yeah!

The ambiguity is intentional, I believe. You shouldn't be encouraging people to push the limit so they're just barely not being banned. It's enough to say, "you've submitted inappropriate content, keep doing it, and you'll be banned."

Which brings us back to "Why are you here?"

Azkar, I disagree. Stating the limit is not necessarily encouragement. Players of Black Jack aren't encouraged by the numbers 22 and over; they're downright DIScouraged by those numbers!

But, really, as far as Drawception goes, the limit should be set at a "value" that Reed and Company are happy with. If it's 10, 100, or 1000, it doesn't matter. What they're telling you is that everything under that value is acceptable to them; just don't reach or go over that value. And that's fair enough. But the players of drawception should be informed of just what that value is.

Let me offer you an analogy. Say the state government imposes a speed limit to drivers on all interstate highways, but they DON'T tell you what that speed limit is. Is that fair? And would posted speed limits ENCOURAGE drivers to exceed those limits?

rockland.....I'm not sure how we get BACK to "Why you are here" when this question has not yet been previously asked. But, anyway, I will answer the question. I am here for the same reasons you all are here: for entertainment and for exercise of my creative muscle. I admit, I've trolled many many times, but this almost invariably is due to stupid prompts, be they drawings or text. I never troll on a good or halfway decent prompt; and that's pretty good considering I've participated in almost 2000 games. But in the course of 2000 games, I have grown wearisome of stick-figure drawings and illiterate/nonsensical/non-portrayable textual prompts (not to mention "big penors," etc.). I've also become bored with drawing semi-realistic drawings (the kinds of drawings that most semi-competent drawers draw). So I've recently explored various other ways of visual interpretation...if only to keep my own personal interest alive (for example, I've recently been trying my hand at "color-field" art).

But, again, I think the real problem I have is in all my recent drawings (usually containing text) that have been downright disrespectful and abusive towards Reed. I just want that guy to pull his shit together. I mean, this isn't rocket science. All of my "flaggers" don't realize that this is all I'm trying to accomplish: pulling Reed's head out of nether parts. Even so, I must admit my other problem, which is that I too often play drawception while I'm drunk. And I'm drunk now. But, drawceptioners, you just wait for the new Kool-Aid He-Man to arise from the ashes. You've beaten me down into almost nonexistence, but I shall arise again, stronger, more likable, and you'll turn your heads this way and that wondering at the great edifice being built before your very eyes!
