Can someone post a video of drawing with a table

tablet? I was looking at some videos of reviews for some Wacom Tablets, and I saw the person say the entire screen was on the tablet. Then I thought, "Does this mean you can only work on the drawing in a tiny tiny portion of the tablet's section? If you don't zoom in anyways.

So I was wondering if someone would be so lovely as to post a video showing the drawing on the tablet, and the drawing itself! It doesn't have to be playing a game, a couple of squiggles in the sandbox would do it for me. (: Thanks!

Generally it's customisable, but more than likely the tablet surface will be directly translated to the screen size. Thing is, if you do draw with it, you almost always will zoom in, so the tablet size is not an issue at all. Hope someone will make a video for you, though. :)

Think he meant to film the actual person on tablet action (hehe) + the screen capture.

I don't use zooming in on Drawception at all (makes my drawings look weird), yet I don't have any problems with tininess or lacking accuracy. I'm even using a very small tablet (Bamboo One). So don't worry, even a little section of your tablet should be enough. :) At least if it's a decent one.

The only hard thing about using a tablet is getting used to it.

I've thought such a video would be a great demo, but it wouldn't necessarily be simple to shoot. The screencap wouldn't be hard, but it takes time, effort and some equipment to set up for shooting overhead while someone's drawing.

Probably the key point though, is that, any decent tablet can be configured in one of several ways (including operating practically like a mouse, not that I'd advise that, just that I once found I'd misconfigured a table that way. The last small Wacom tablet I got allows you to map tablet to full screen or to define a specific window of space from your screen that will map to the tablet. Pretty much any configuration you might be able to thing of, leaving it to you whether one option or another is the one you find preferable.

There are advantages to partial mapping, but the downside is that it will mean you can't use the tablet to act on anything outside that box, which may feel limiting (though it would also prevent accidental closing of windows, and so on).

@ebbixx

Yeah, I realized that it would be a lot of hassle to record when I started thinking about it.

Thanks for all feedback everyone!
