This really gets to me. I also hate it when people include "poorly drawn" in their descriptions. So unnecessary! On one game, someone told someone else "I hope you die of cancer!" because they hadn't drawn what the person had wanted. It's awful.

Jerks. Gamer jerks. If you have ever played a game, and have dealt with these types, you will appreciate this NSFW or CHILDREN video. It's old, but very funny.

FWIW, I consider that video entirely safe for my children. Granted, both are now teens and quite well aware of such gamer defects. ;)

OMG...that video was funny, I have actually had to deal with people like that while playing Monopoly. The game "Sorry"?, well, I learned sending poor sports back to start makes them INSANE!!

Actually the most obnoxious person I've ever played games with was the boyfriend of a co-worker of mine (and I've played WoW for 3 years). He flipped the card table, accused me of cheating and cursed me out... All because I won my very first time playing Hearts.

It is only a game, but it is also the internet. Asking people to be civil is like asking the rain to stop falling.

My favorite is people who get annoyed when the topic changes from the original concept. You know, the kind of thing that happens in THE TELEPHONE GAME

Vampyre, I agree with you I just had the exact same issue and came on the forums to see if anyone else has. The Craskson guy has a big chip on his shoulder. Here is a game I played and I thought is was so funny and epic and he tries to crap all over it and call the first drawer a troll, but he is just being a judgmental jerk.

People like those should be reported. If they can't control their rage, then they shouldn't be here, regardless of how well or poor their drawing ability is.

Having great skill is one thing, but if your personality is not desirable, then a lot of people may not have respect for you. Then again, they're probably the same kind of people who feed on rage in the first place. Sort of like a troll, I guess.

Neill that was super nice of you to stand up for that drawing. We know nothing about the people behind the computer who have joined and play Drawception. There are children, old people, homebound folks with physical handicaps, ..... and most of them are not good artists but are enjoying this website because it is fun and funny. The front page says "the ability to draw well is not required". So thanks Neill and everyone else who has stood up to the self-assigned Art Police on here. :)

JellowJacket, Thanks for your kind words. I think about 90 to 95% of people that play this game are very friendly, kind and all around dorks of some sort and we would all get along great if put in a room together. Which is why it's just so noticeable when someone has a bad attitude. Telling someone on an early level they are a troll is just mean and really unnecessary. I'm glad I found this chain so I would not feel along in fighting the good fight.

Rody and Baronz, wow that dude is a just angry, but don't call him hulk for being angry because that would just upset him more. He is a good artist for sure, but not so good in the being a decent person department.

I agree that the Drawception community is generally very amicable... I think the site's unique blend of art and humor makes it difficult to take it too seriously (for most). Let's just hope that it maintains its friendliness as it grows in popularity, and not let the less friendly users get to us.
