We need players to help finish our games. They are stuck in Limbo.
I am hoping to get some playing time in today if I get out of work at a decent time. If I do I'll hop in there and play a few friend games.
8^D
The last time i visited, it was filled with troll panels unfortunately. Of both drawn and written variety.
Sorry Shparks, yesterday didn't turn out so well. Hoping I'll have some time tonight has DC withdrawals
If anyone could find and finish a game started by Saar6691 I would be most pleased as it's been on my list for months and I have no idea how to find the original link without going through each thread to find it.
Friend games take forever to finish so I had to stop doing them. Then I felt kindly and did one after being asked and it took forever to finish. So, yeah sorry, but I'm good.
I still have a friend game open that stopped being done 3 months ago. I'm not going to be doing any more.
Mine are only 6-panel games. It wouldn't take very many of you to finish it.
Mine is stuck on 3/12. I'm not risking it again until Reed addresses the issue.
One finished today. Only two games left.
Post it in the Drawception group Marc, I'd take part in it.
I can't post it because I didn't start it, and I'm going to assume the person that did disappeared off the site months ago.
@Ackter -- Good point on why many avoid the Friend games. I have to admit as well that I'm enough of an attention whore that it doesn't really do anything for me to have completed the single one I've participated in.
For those who do remain interested in them, what's the secret? I'd guess part of it would be if you know the others invited are really likely to remain active?
Is there definitely no share link for these games if you weren't the one who initiated them? Seems like those links were a fairly recent addition, but without being in a game that started before the feature appeared I can't think how I'd confirm this.
The second and third game that I posted here are one away from being finished:

No Risk!
I wish the friend game pub was more easily accessible. I don't have any friends in here ( :( ), and the forum seems unreasonably cluttered. Half of the linked games are already done, and there's no reason to finish the ones that aren't over just a regular game.
I want to try and participate, but I wish there were more 'themed' titles than 'Unfinished game, help!" (especially in that quantity) it just sounds like a sandpit to dump a contribution into, for it to never see another sunny day.
I think calling them "Friend" games is actually a part of the problem, zPurr. I don't really know those in the games I've participated in, and there's not a lot of opportunities to do much one-to-one interaction here unless you include the Facebook group, which I'm sure does not appeal to a significant percentage of active and awesome players.
I'd agree, there's not exactly much (besides this thread) to draw people to the Pub, so it's not too surprising that it gets little active attention.
One thing I had wondered is whether there's a more silent crew of people who actually have some other IRL connections who may be actually using the games more literally, as games closed off to all but a particular, private circle of friends. There'd be no way to know that, would there?
Without private message support on the site itself, though, there are some serious barriers to making it more accessible and visible -- and to be logical, I'm not sure there's much incentive for Reed to support such games anyway... they can't be generating much (if any) ad revenue... I'd imagine they are almost pure cost with little benefit from his POV.
At least I got all of mine finished.
