The amount of colors in the game

I've heard comments that there should be more colors, but honestly I think we have plenty to work with. 5 point gradient on browns, 4 point on red-yellows. White-cyan-blue works great for water and sky. Dark grey can even pass for dark green if juxtaposed against the two greens. Here's an image with some examples.

The beauty in this game is how simple the tools are vs how elegant of pictures that come out. Between creative color choice and erasing to shape non-circle brush strokes, there's a lot of room for creativity.

Thoughts? Examples of good panels?

I'm very fond of the current colours. You always know what works as shade and highlight with these, so no time is wasted on wondering about how to shade ^^ Also the secret of why most of drawings are in colour :D

Yup I agree, the current colours are perfect.

I agree, if any more colours were added it would overcomplicate things and might intimidate newer players. Though, I really don't think grey could look like green. It fits perfectly, but you can still tell it's grey :P

AdvancePlays, I think it could be a matter of screen settings. A lot of laptops come with default settings that make everything look a bit blue. I wouldn't put it past someone's screen giving neutral greys a slight green hue - not that I know if this is the case here. ^^ Anyway, it's not bad for shading when a darker green is not available. :)
