"Oh dear, you ran out of time! Submit anyway?" Insert Batman Here [Yepperoni] [Nopelicious] 1:00

This was talked about before, but I don't think there has been a thread about it yet.

Anyways: When you run out of time, you are taken to a screen with your panel. You can't edit it, but you have an extra minute to decide whether you'll submit it or not. :)

@Dewmz

Ah, there it is :D

Though, I do want to double check if I DO want to submit it. :o

Yeah, In my ARGGGGGGH thread (Which sums up my feelings exactly) I simply went for a "Do you want to submit or scrap?" after your allotted time runs out. And I would like the option just to double check it's good enough to submit lol

Yes! I've lost a couple of pictures by being down-to-the-wire.

Pretty new to all this drawing business, but I think this is a great idea. Especially if the yes/no options are labeled "Yepperoni" and "Nopelicious."

GYAAARR!! I just drew the most epic of epic pics, easily the one I was most proud of, only to be pipped at the submit button by 1 second. It said "error submitting, please try again", but when I clicked okay, it went straight on to the next game. Dammit.

I really hope this idea get implemented :D

I don't like the sound of auto submit. Once I got down to like the last 10 seconds and decided to scrap the image as I wasn't happy with how it turned out.

Yessalicious Yepperoni! I have yet to lose a creation to the time limit but I know that it's what happens, and I truly dread the day it happens to me.

There are a lot of positively absurd and overly complicated things the drawing pane could use to make my life better, such as tablet pen pressure & angle support, variable opacity, layers, alpha-channel, and gamut warning for the 16 colors, but the out-of-time prompt would probably be actually useful, and useful to people who aren't me!

  • 1 to this, a have lost several times my drawing because the time that gets from the moment when i hit the submit button and the moment when it actually submits... :( this is very desmotivational

YES, PLEASE!!, Most of my best panels were lost to the site just waiting after I pressed submit when there were 10 seconds left!!! Please!!! Do this! Really demotivational!

Bumping this. I almost thought a panel didn't get through. Lucky it did. :<

I've lost a few drawings myself, but I'm of two minds about this. While it's frustrating and discouraging to lose a good drawing, it also adds a bit of a frisson of terror when the timer starts ticking down. It gets the heart rate up and a bead of sweat trickling down the hairline, which is never a bad thing. The excitement of wondering whether or not I'm going to make the deadline is part of what makes the game attractive for me. I'm unsure whether some of the fun would go out of the game when some of the risk is ameliorated.

Tch, lost 2 panels today. I'd still like this to be implemented. : C
