Hotkeys for brush sizes

Oooh, I would LOVE this.

I dont know what my problem is but I have a terrible time selecting both brush sizes and colors on my tablet. I must be dragging a little because I can only assume its just moving the whole button instead of clicking it. This would be awesome.

@KxRook I have the same problem, using the mouse. Thank goodness for undo. :-/

Yeah, my god, the amount of times I scream in frustration as the buttons don't work. Must waste a good minute of everygame choosing incorrect colours and sizes lol

I'm glad to know it isnt just me. Its so bad I have to do most transitions twice. And now that I think about it I do it when I'm mousing too, but not as bad.

I think it's just a problem with Drawception. I sometimes click the different brush sizes, erasers, colors one two three even four times before it actually selects it. Tablet user.

Only ever used Chrome though, so don't know if IE, FF has any different effect. I suspect it's the game rather than browser though.

Yeah, to confirm that, I use Firefox both at home and at work, and it does it at both places.

I have troubles in both Chrome and Firefox.

I've often wanted to start a game: "dammit drawception I said lil brush!" to refer to exactly this problem.

agreed, doubly so for the additional brushes and maybe some sort of text input cause on a touch pad character dialog is difficult....

Hotkeys for these are coming in tonight. Currently they are set to CTRL+1, CTRL+2, CTRL+3, CTRL+4.

Any other suggestions on what the keys should be?

Do they really need the modifier?

I am assuming that this slight change is what cause my browser to jump me to the top of the page when selecting a new brush size. is there a way we can stop that? time is limited enough without having to scroll down some every time i choose a new brush size.

I wouldn't mind the eraser being ctrl + e.

Oooh man. So if I hit ctrl + # it switches me to that tab in Firefox. This is going to be an issue.

Yep, that was the reason I asked if they really needed the modifier, because Chrome does the same thing, and changing those hotkeys just for a website isn't happening.

Where do you tablet people keep your keyboard? I have it directly above mine, but its pretty awkward to have to reach that far... plus I pretty much have to leave my hand on it so its just a weird position.

I'm thinking about trying it to the left but that seems just as awkward in a different way.

I'm on a laptop so when I use my tablet it's actually on my keyboard.
