Level system = Bad idea as well.

Level system isn't a bad idea, depending on how it's handled, but I don't like hiding the points total.

I agree, I don't like not being able to see the points total. But I don't want any of the game to be restricted because of levels in the future is my point.

You can still see the points of the people you're following and of your followers (on your profile page), but I agree, I do miss seeing my accumulated points :(

And we'll just have to see what Reed does with all of this. There's a lot of uproar I think largely because this change (and others) is so sudden and we've kind of been shoved into the deep end with blindfolds on, but perhaps it'll be alright and once we've got some more input from Reed it'll seem more... understandable.

I just hope they bring points back, they can keep levels and all but I want to see my points myself, I don't really want to have to ask someone: Hey what're my points at? But I like your optimism maybe he'll update the update to something that's a bit easier to handle.

I liked being able to see my points as well, but i dont mind having levels in addition to points. and maybe a some sort of chart that tells me whats so great about being level 50 as opposed to lvl 16

Just hit me.. I vaguely recall hearing about Reed doing something to keep the newer people, separated from the rest of the fray in order to learn the ways of the game. Also hoping that it will cut down on the amount of trolls that ruin games.

Perhaps the levelling system will be used for that? Sounds feasible, but even if that's the case, could've worked just as well with a number goal, as a level goal.

I like how it is not much better. with my level next to my name and the exp tells me current likes and number required to level.

I think it's much better now that they have the amount of points you have back up.

I Would Prefer It If They Show You How Many Points You Have And Then Show The Level Underneath So That The Points Will Still Be The Main Thing And We Can Still Keep The Level System

If you only get xp for upvotes then it makes no difference whatsoever. Gives Reed something to play with in terms of preventing more trolling and adding some features to the game. Stop crying, enjoy the game.

i kinda dislike the trumpet for alerts however, i preferred the number myself..

When you come in here and tell people to stop crying about something or go back to their lives please keep in mind this is a suggestion forum. Anyways they brought points back and I think now its something both people who like levels and people who like points can enjoy.

I have to say this...

When it was points, I felt far more congenial towards my fellow Drawceptioners and gave out lots of upvotes.

Now that it's a level system it's kinda kicked in my competitive streak and I'm being a bit stingier with votes...

I'm not any harsher with points however I like to see them for some reason :p
