Dark red

Brown works as a dark red shading.

I was actually going to make a thread about the colors in general. I would like to see a larger selection, as in, different shades, lighter and darker.

I would like a highlight tool but just to make things brighter/darker

Why, though? Its simplicity is what makes this game great. The current colour set is as small as it can be while still offering a shade and highlight colour for each main colour.

The game wouldn't be half as fun with added complexity.

I agree with Ackter. The lack of colors used to be a bit frustrating, but once I got used to it, it really doesn't bother me at all anymore. In fact it actually helps you improve and be more creative :D PLus seeing some of the amazing things people draw with such limited colors and tools, the various ways people shade/highlight because of that, or change styles to suit prompts is really cool.

But the brown is a bit to light/not red enough to use on red imho. I don't miss a normal pink. I like the pink: it's a nice 'out there' kind of pink that works great with black. It's great for carebears and power rangers.

I really miss a darker brown or a darker red. Doesn't really matter which of the two. I don't think we need extra colours, that would only make drawing in 10 minutes harder and as Ackter says. It's the simplicity that makes the game.

Yeah, dark red! I just drew Meatwad and had to use BROWN! shudder...

Haha, no but really, dark red would be good for anything from blood to shading reds.
