Delete/edit created games?

I know this will probably be unpopular, but I would love the function to be able to edit/delete games I created when they haven't even gone live yet. For example: I have one that I created where I made a mistake that hasn't proceeded to the second person yet. "I thought they smelled bad on the inside". It was supposed to be 'outside' but I rushed it and made the mistake. But now I have to sit and weight to be torn to shreds in the comments section by Star Wars fans (of which I am one) because I screwed up the quote.

Just a thought.

FWIW, I think this was part of the intent of dustcatchers. If enough people skip it, it will eventually go away by itself. OTOH, someone might draw some hilarious response, and as long as we're all (presumably) humans, mistakes will be made. You did have the opportunity at submission time to not submit.

I wouldn't object to something like a 10 minute grace period when submissions could be cancelled, but I know from recent examples where I'd done the 11th or 14th panel, that cues go out pretty much immediately... it would definitely be unfair to the next person who may have spent 10 minutes drawing something that was an awesome response, to find that the context got ripped away.

Further to my point, I just spelled wait as weight. What the hell is wrong with me... My brain sucks right now... :(

It would be nice to have a slight window for editing. OTOH, in most cases, isn't 10 minutes sufficient to double check things if your'e so inclined?

I have to admit I've had my share of typos and approvals that I might have rethought if I had the opportunity. I'm sure some psych researcher will eventually earn a PhD for explaining what's behind this, if they haven't done so already.

Ok, Tom? You still quoted Star Wars, and any SW geek who comes across it would be familiar with it, and the fact that you had switched "outside" to "inside" might be a point of humor and/or appreciation by said geek.

That said, typos and mis-interpretations, or missing pop-references due to lack of exposure is all part of the game and can create funny and hilarious paths to the end. It's OK, you can create another one.

I hope your brain is better. It' sucks to have sucky brain. :(
