Thank you, my friend
Looking at this and if course what I've seen in the zombie thread, I'm pretty sure Mendoza is the queen of drawing bloody things! Amazing work!
She's bloody fantastic!
If she's the queen, would John, Why? be the king?
Queen of blood and King of nightmares!
I love you guys; here's one of my oil paintings
I loved watching trashfordinner and john's first drawings here. I made a batman when this was still in its development but sadly exporting did not work at the time. It works phenomenally on tablets and would probably be a nice place to start with an app.
I noticed something that I find kind of odd. You don't notice any mistakes you made unless you watch the playback. And once you've seen your mistake, you can not unsee it.
I just noticed the dark grey dot above the stone's eye, for example.
There are no mistakes in art, only "happy little accidents". --Bob Ross
Mpen, go with the flow man!
Ok finished the thread, was excellent.
Mendoza, that was cool to watch! Glad you like the canvas.
Shannon-Akimbojoe, why not give it another try?
I've made a tutorial for how to draw Cookie Monster:
How to Draw Cookie Monster
Oh my god, john I love you, you're amazing please draw me everything...I just want you to take my money...
I like to think this is how you draw in regular games.
I hope it was educational. :)
Anyway, Grom, is there anyway to work the background color into the playback? Changing the BG color at the end can make things invisible on replay. And while you're adding features that are't be on Drawception, can I suggest a smaller brush or maybe even a brush slider or something? It feels off, because everything's so much bigger and the pictures end up bigger.
John, that was hilariously eerie to watch, as often seen from you. =)
Yeah, I realize it's less than ideal in some cases to have background color as a global setting, but currently the code is built on the neat assumption that one stroke = one undo level = one playback item, so will have to break and untangle that first.
That said, it's easy (if a little non-obvious) to switch background color when watching.
As for more brush sizes, I'm not a fan of that as I don't see it fitting nicely in the interface. Perhaps you'd like exporting to half-size like Drawception Sandbox does? Or something inbetween.
